Frequently asked questions
Do you take insurance?
Yes, through Headway I accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem, Cigna, and Quest Behavioral Health. Please reach out for specific information on what your individual plan covers.
What can I expect from our first session?
The first session is all about getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, your goals, and what you're hoping to get out of our work together. You can share as much or as little as you’d like — there’s no pressure to have it all figured out. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, comfortable, and collaborative from the very beginning.
What if I’ve never been to therapy?
That’s completely okay! Many of my clients are new to therapy. You don’t need to know exactly what to say or what to work on right away. My job is to help you feel safe, supported, and not judged. We’ll go at your pace, and I’ll guide you through the process so it never feels overwhelming. Just showing up is a powerful first step.
Are sessions online or in person?
I currently offer virtual only therapy for clients located in Colorado. All sessions take place through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform, which allows for flexibility, comfort, and privacy.
How long are sessions, and how often will we meet?
Sessions are typically 50 minutes, with extended sessions available for couples or families when needed. Most clients start with weekly sessions, and we can adjust the frequency based on your needs and preferences as we go.
Can I set up a consultation call?
Yes! I completely understand the need for comfort and the right fit with a therapist. I would be happy to connect to learn more about your hopes for therapy, answer your questions about myself, and see if we are a good fit.
